These Terms of Use apply to your use of PDF Scanner. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the app.
App purpose
PDF Scanner lets you scan, import, edit, organize, sign, back up, restore and share PDF documents.
You are responsible for the documents you create, import, edit, store, export and share with the app.
License
The app is licensed, not sold. You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's App Store terms.

Premium subscription
Some features may require a premium subscription or trial. The exact price, duration, trial availability and renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Payment is charged to your Apple ID once the purchase is confirmed.
The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Your account is billed for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the active subscription period.
You can view, manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings after purchase. Refund requests and billing issues are handled by Apple.
Free limits and feature access
The app may provide limited free scanning or limited access to some features. These limits may change over time.
Premium access may unlock additional scanning, OCR, signatures, iCloud, export, backup, restore or other features shown in the app.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to create, store or share unlawful, harmful, infringing or abusive content.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, misuse or bypass the app, subscriptions, limits or security features.
Accuracy and document responsibility
Scanning, image enhancement, OCR, handwriting recognition and text extraction may be imperfect. Review important documents before relying on them.
The app is not a legal, financial, medical, tax or professional advice tool.
Third-party services
Features such as iCloud, App Store purchases, sharing destinations, Files, Mail, Messages or other apps are provided by Apple or third parties and may be subject to their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services or destinations you choose to use.
No warranty
The app is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every scan or OCR result will be accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of documents, data, profits or business opportunities.
Always keep your own backup of important documents.
Changes and termination
We may update the app, features, prices, limits or these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version included in the app.
We may suspend or end access to the app if you violate these terms or misuse the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. The developer, Bilal Akkoç, is based in France.
Any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
